    GHRP (Growth Hormone-Releasing Peptide)

A class of synthetic peptides that stimulate growth hormone release via the ghrelin receptor.

    Definition

GHRP (growth hormone-releasing peptide) is the umbrella class of synthetic peptides that stimulate pituitary GH release by acting on the ghrelin receptor — making them, mechanistically, growth hormone secretagogues. Ipamorelin is the GHRP most often referenced on TruthTides because of its selectivity for GH release without significant cortisol or prolactin elevation. GHRPs are distinct from GHRH analogs (CJC-1295, Sermorelin, Tesamorelin), which act on the separate GHRH receptor. The two classes are commonly stacked in clinical protocols for synergistic GH release.
