    About this activity

This enduring activity provides healthcare professionals with a structured framework for evaluating peptide therapies using evidence appraisal, patient selection, clinical reasoning, and safety considerations. Content is delivered through self-paced online modules addressing evidence appraisal, patient screening and selection, realistic patient communication, safety considerations, and the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding peptide therapies. The course emphasizes clinical decision-making rather than protocol-driven or promotional approaches and does not provide dosing instructions or prescribing protocols. To claim continuing education credit, participants must complete the module-based multiple-choice assessments and the post-activity evaluation.

    Learning objectives

After participating in this activity, learners will be able to:

    1. Evaluate the strength, limitations, and clinical relevance of available evidence related to peptide therapies.
    2. Apply a structured approach to screening and selecting appropriate patients for consideration of peptide therapies.
    3. Communicate realistic expectations, clinical uncertainty, and evidence limitations when responding to patient questions about peptide therapies.
    4. Identify safety, quality, compounding, and regulatory considerations relevant to the clinical evaluation of peptide therapies.

    Target audience

This activity is designed for licensed healthcare providers who evaluate peptide therapies or respond to patient questions about their use, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and pharmacists.
