Definition
The hypothalamus is the brain region that produces growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) and other regulatory hormones that direct the pituitary gland. On TruthTides, the hypothalamus is referenced in the context of GHRH analogs (CJC-1295, Sermorelin, Tesamorelin), which mimic the hypothalamic signal that normally drives pulsatile GH release from the pituitary.
